When and how do I book a photo session for my child/family?
During the summer months, dates/ weeks fill up fast. Often some weeks are fully booked before memorial day. If you are vacationing during a specific week, we recomend you book your session as quickly as possible. During other times of the year we recomend booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance.

A deposit is required to hold date, due at time of booking.

Outdoor Family Portrait session take place either in the early morning or the late afternoon. We recomend morning for sessions in urban cityscapes like princeton University or at local parks like Sayen gardens. Beach sessions are best in the late evning as sunsets at the Jersey shore make great backdrops for your family portraits.


What should we expect during a session?
Basic sessions can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours. We want to capture the best images possible. We try and give your family as much time as needed to relax and be comfortable. If your children seem a little overwhelmed we give them a break and continue with other combinations until they are ready to try again. Often once they see their sister, uncle, cousins, grand parents, etc having fun being photographed they can't wait until it's their turn agin. You will never be rushed. We take as many photos and combinations as you want. Sessions include both posed and candid style shots.


Where should we do the shoot and what should we wear?
We recomend a place you are familiar with that matches your style. Please let us know what types of images you are looking for and we can suggest spots that will match those desires for example if you are looking for beach portraits do you like sand dunes, rock jettys, etc... We can suggest locations to meet those requests.

Your family is the focus so no busy patterns or loud colors. We recomend you pick a few colors and blend them throughout your outfits. Try to stick with simple solid earthy tones. We recomend long sleeves for the adults. Little girls, their mother's and aunts look cute in long flowing sundresses.

When is my balance due on my child's photo session?
Balance is due on the day of the session.

What if my child is sick, bad weather or I need to reschedule?
Things happen. If your child becomes ill, there is inclement weather, or Uncle Bert suddenly gets called into work, call us and we can reschedule your session. If you are vactioning we do our best to reschedule during your vacation. We typically do not book sessions on Thursday or Fridays for this reason. Therefore we recomend booking as early in your stay as possible. If we are not able to reschedule your booking fee will be returned to you.


I want to order reprints, how do I do that?
After your session, We will post all images to a password protected preview site. This weblink will be live for 30 days. Pass along the link to any family members who may want to purchase photos. Please make all decisions within that time. Your prints can be ordered right from your webpage. After you have paid for your prints you can expect delivery in 3 weeks.
 
Reprint orders are to be paid in full at time of ordering


Payments can be made by check, money order, cash credt card or paypal
Returned checks subject to $40 fee

My weblink is no longer active, how do I know which reprints to order?
Another link can be set up for 14 days with a $50 deposit credited towards reprints
